Long Ago In A Distant Land, Akai, the fully functional fonbot, unleashed a fairly standard mod post. But a foolish player kept asking questions and come on, do you really need to know that much? Now everyone wants to play out their ships and get into fruit shenanigans and undo to evil that is AKAI.

OH YEAH! So like, assume there is stands (or you know, beach-appropriate huts) here and there that are stocked up on bathing suits (and curtains you can change behind), stands with beverages, and snacks. Nobody's really operating them, new stuff just gets Shifted there (BUT ONLY IF YOU'RE NOT WATCHING). The Malnosso are the most considerate bro-ginization ever.

[As if possessed and in a trance, a lovestruck Isaac has been drawn to the beach without understanding why. Upon his arrival, he stops to gaze out towards the horizon for a long moment, pulling in the warm, salty air deep into his lungs and simply listening to the susurration of the waves - and for the first time in his life - and perhaps the last - he is truly at peace with himself.

It can't last.

He glances towards one of the trees, not particularly hungry but strongly compelled nonetheless to pluck off one of the fruits.]

[This was nothing at all like the beaches of Normandy but...it was a beach, the sound of the waves were comforting, and Adele let herself be wrapped by nostalgia all the same. Anything she'd been worried about earlier this week is set aside in favor of enjoying the weather, and the beach. She's walking along the shoreline, watching others swim, surf, and converse, content to just weave around the other beach goers for the moment.]

[Several fruits tumble into the sand after he swings his spear into it, rattling the trunk. He chooses one arbitrarily and brushes it clean, promptly taking a bite into it. While chewing thoughtfully, he brushes the thing stream of juice dribbling down his chin with the back of his hand. It's mild and sweet, not quite ripe. After a moment, he decides to take a second fruit of the same variety with him.

He catches a glimpse of Adele as he turns his heel, blinking. But before he understands why, he has already approached her and is extending his palm, wordlessly and unsmilingly offering the unbitten one for her to take. He likely looks about as trustworthy as the serpent of Eden. Oh well.]

[The sharp crack of something striking wood has Adele turning to observe...whoever. Whatever. And it's a...under dressed redheaded man with a spear. Attacking a tree for it's fruit.

Still not the strangest thing she's seen. She shakes her head a bit at the display and is about to turn to continue in her wandering when the aforementioned under dressed redhead approaches with another fruit. For her. Apparently.]

...Thank you? [She accepts the fruit, but doesn't bit into it just yet, still puzzled by the man's behavior.]

[The devil forgemaster keeps his eyes locked on hers - strange, predatory eyes made more striking by the contrast of his white irises and small, dark pupils.]

Eat it. [He commands almost viciously, before taking another bite of his own.] I have not poisoned it, if that is what you are concerned about.

I'm more concerned about possible allergens than I am of you poisoning these. Though they do seem to be causing anyone here harm...[Adele shrugs, tugs the small knife she keeps in her hair out and cuts a slice to nibble from. Sweet, but not cloying, not yet ripe. But delicious all the same.]

Mm. Thank you.

[And as soon as she samples a slice, a smile spreads across his lips. How delightful it is to bump into an old friend he just met.]

Ah... it has been a while, hasn't it?

[Saleh can be found in an open area of the beach, sitting in his usual meditation pose. The beach was a different place for him, and just as serene as the woods. And a heck of a lot warmer, too. It's just what he needs to distract his mind from the heartbreak.]

[If not too deep in a meditative trance, Saleh may hear the sound of approaching footsteps stirring the soft sand. Isaac stands before the man he still aches for with every fibre of his being, a fruit in hand - and he takes a bite into its sweet flesh before calmly offering the rest.]

[Yeah, Saleh is a little too deep in the meditation to hear the footsteps. However, he does notice the fruit being handed to him. He raises an eye, as it's...half-eaten.]

[But so many emotions wash over him. Isaac had come back to him, which was a relief, but Saleh also fears being rejected again. Is this love really worth it?]

[Regardless, he can't ignore the kind gesture. He stands calmly and takes the fruit. He examines it carefully before slowly taking a bite out of a part that hadn't been eaten yet.]

[Watching, Isaac then offers his hand to help Saleh up, his eyes soft with longing.]

[Saleh takes his hand as he stands, and just stares at it. It just feels so right to be holding hands right now...]

[On a whim, he raises Saleh's hand and bows his head to press his lips to the back of it with a tenderness most would not expect from him. He looks up with a gentle laugh before straightening. He can't say for the life of him what compelled him to do it - it just seemed necessary.]

[ Helios is also at peace with himself. And it won't last, it never usually does. But right at this moment? He is content to take in the crashing of the waves and beautiful horizon.

So have a blonde haired man looking up at those trees as well not paying much attention to where he's walking. Yep. This will end so well. ]

[Jarred by the inevitable collision of their bodies (which is not quite as exciting as it may sound), Isaac blinks and twists around, his mellow most certainly harshed. In fact, he looks about ready to tear into Helios with some sharp-tongued remark when...

- - Plop! - -

A fruit drops on his head from some tree branch he was conveniently standing underneath. Apparently this tree is really leaning to one side. ...Sure. Unthinkingly, he snatches the fruit out of the air before it falls and takes a bite, his irritation promptly subsiding. It is pleasant and lightly sweet. Care to have a taste?

He offers the unbitten side on an impulse.]

[ Not exciting at all. More like Helios flailing and sputtering out an apology for doing so. ] Ah! I-I'm sorry! I-I wasn't...paying attention. I really sh-should be more careful where I'm walking...

[ Oh what's that? Helios promptly stops in his apology and looks over at Issac. A sheepish laugh as he rubs the back of his head with a cool hand. ] O-Oh I. I shouldn't. I-I mean I did just run into you a-and I should p-probably go.

[ Though these fruits were strange and it did smell delicious whatever one Issac was offering and yet Helios couldn't exactly deny the offer, for whatever reason. Even if he's playing it off as doing so. So yes what an awkward response to his bumping into the other. ]

[Isaac watches him expectantly.]

Well~? Go on - eat. Or do you suspect me of having tainted it? [A ghoulish little grin plays his lips.]

Ah! W-Well n-no. I-I just wouldn't want to, to interrupt. B-But if you're certain... [ Although now that you bring it up that it might be tainted Helios can't help but frown slightly...no, no. This was just regular fruit. Fruit that he really wanted to try despite the ghoulish grin playing on this man's lips. A man he's never met before but for some reason he really can't seem to deny himself trying just a little of that fruit.

So, yes, tentatively Helios will take that fruit and just take a small bite out of it. Hm. His eyebrows raise a little as he eats it. ] It's surprisingly sweet.

Indeed. [He cocks his head, the smile lingering as he studies Helios' features and commits them to memory.] I do not believe we have exchanged introductions. We shall have to remedy this, won't we?

[As much as she loves her beautiful sunbeam, she can't spend all of her time clinging to him.

...Well, actually, she could, but right now she isn't. Even she needs a good stretch and walking along the beach and taking a bit of time for herself is always nice. She likes the beach, how beautiful and relaxing it all is.

She spots Issac and the curious star-shaped fruit and goes over to look, curious what that is.] Hey, what's that?

Perhaps... it is the most forbidden of all fruit. [It is with a certain sensuality that he emphasizes that particular f-word, hah.]

...How exciting~. [He takes a particularly savage bite of it and then offers her the untouched side.]

[Alice, you should know better then to take fruit from random strangers. Oh, wait, no you don't. When the fruit is offered out to her, Alice leans in and takes a bite herself. Hmm, a mild sort of flavor. Almost ripe, but not quite there.]

Not bad. So you do that often, offering your fruit to random women?

[He huffs a laugh.]

Please. Make no mistake... I am far more inclined to share my fruit... with others. The frailer sex does not much compel my generosity, you understand.

[Is this still entirely about fruit...?]

Ohh, you prefer dudes. That's cool. [A smile and a shrug before she points at the paopu fruit.] Hey, you going to eat the rest of that fruit?

[Pretending to be oblivious to what she wants - which he can only manage for a few seconds - he slides a tongue over his half, savouring the juice.]

Did you still want the rest~? [He asks pleasantly, smiling.
