[It's going to be an interesting week for most inhabitants of Luceti. Grune, however, will be taking it all in stride--largely because she won't notice half of it.

She does notice, though, that this week, the garden outside of her house looks a little...different. Her housemate and best friend Norma tends to refer to her excessively extensive flower and vegetable plots as a "jungle," and as of today? Welp. That's what they are. Massive, towering plants have replaced the usual cute little flowers, and they don't look particularly friendly. While they seem to be all right with Grune tending them, it may not be the best idea to get too close....

As for Grune herself, she seems to be fairly normal--until you hear her speak or sing.]

Grune being Grune, she won't let the general weirdness interfere with her routine of wandering about, picking flowers, visiting friends, and tending gardens, so feel free to run into her just about anywhere all week long.]

[In retrospect, he probably shouldn't have stayed up so late last night. An uncharacteristically sleepy Golbez stumbles into Grune's garden, towel tied around his waist and... absolutely nothing else on. He blinks a bit and starts looking around, thoroughly confused.]

This is not my bathroom. [Pause.] In fact this does not resemble anyplace I've ever seen in Luceti.

[His eyes finally fall on Grune, and that just confuses him further... until his sleep-fogged mind finally catches up with what's going on.]

September 30-August 3

I was pretty confident in my preparations for the magic group, so I decided to put that aside for the last week and get to doing what I should have been doing for a while, which is rebuilding my magical toolkit. I wanted wood for a blasting rod, plain steel rings, various forms of jewelry wire for a shield bracelet, enough metal or at least wood to finish my scale model of Luceti, and I needed the materials for the enchantments.

I didn't think I'd find them all in just four days, but looking was more likely to work than sitting on my butt all week.

[ooc note: Harry's event effect? All week he will be speaking and writing in rhyming meter. He might not notice it at first- it'll seem accidental- but later in the week it'll be downright Seussian. Luckily for Harry, it will fade on the day of the Magic Group.]

September 30-August 3

[It's morning. Early. Too early. Luna stands in the middle of the lane, her normally waving mane and tail a straight, flat matte train. She's scowling pointedly up at the sky, looking as if she's about to burst into a loud string of royal insults. Instead, what comes out is little more than a whisper.]

What is the matter with all of you? Have you no shame? The night is where you belong, not frolicking about the sun in the early morning hours! Cease this nonsense at once!

[Morning. Day One]

[Why can't he just get home and put his clothes back on? Is this some sort of karma for staying in his armor constantly for the first few years in Luceti?

Well, whatever. Golbez grumbles irritably as he stalks by Luna in a towel, not even noticing her at first... until he takes note of that surprisingly small voice.]

Luna? What are you doing?

[Sokka had been lucky for the first part of his morning. He had his breakfast, put on his training gear, washed up a bit, and prepared to head into training today. Little did he know his front door had other plans for him. Devious, evil plans. Which means he'll end up just about anywhere. Through doors smaller than usual. Which means he might be anywhere from a foot tall to three feet tall. Or perhaps at his normal size, too! Getting home has never been such an adventure. And maybe he can use some help getting back. (Feel free to make up any location you want for him to arrive, whether it's in a home or off in the mountains!)

Sokka is a little wiser to using doors the rest of the week, but sometimes they just can't be avoided. But he'll be spending a lot of time out doors. And if he's in the forest, he may end up glaring at the trees and thwacking them with his club when he walks by them. Such is life.]

[Something seemed odder when Aang left the house today. Such as the fact that he was now in the middle of the forest. And speaking of the forest, when did all those trees get so big? Along with everything else? It's almost as if he's now about a foot high...

But it doesn't seem like there's that long before a familiar face appears.]

[Day 1-2

Ling is fortunate enough to not use many doors. Front doors anyway. After a troublesome encounter of his bedroom door leading to the farmlands, Ling drags himself back to the house to finally get some food. When he climbs through the window, he ends up landing on the path. And he can't quite stop bouncing as he tries to find sturdy ground in the plaza area. Maybe if he can make his jump high enough, he can land on top of a shop!

Day 3

Worse yet, sometime in the week when he foolishly enters another door, he ends up standing on the north wall of community building 3. This is particularly troublesome because falling off it? That means a forty mile drop to go splat on the edge of the barrier. Anyone in the communal kitchens, on any floor, might find someone knocking on the window. He's trapped and hungry!

Day 4

On another day, he is just trying to stay home and not get into too much trouble. But after getting up from the couch... he realizes his floor is lava! Housemates or anyone who accidentally door-teleports into the house with him may help him through this crisis.]

[Greed's had fallen asleep sprawled in an airmchair the previous night since he didn't want to bother opening the door to the bedroom. Luckily his feet were dangling just above the floor. He was soon snapped awake when a lava bubble popped dangerously close to his feet. Greed raised his legs to a safer height, took a glance down at the floor and then went back to casual.]

[Door teleporting? Wolverine can't break old habits, because doors are EVERYWHERE. But sometimes, if he ends up in a place he doesn't want to be, or is close enough to where he wants to be, he may decide to forgo using the door. So nevermind this clawed man deciding to tear a new exit through your wall. It's no big deal, right? They'll just fix themselves in a few hours.]

[There was...Wolverine. In her kitchen. Trying to claw out the wall. It is too early in the morning for this bullshit.]

[Cyborg isn't immune to door troubles. And he kind of ends up all over the place. But that's not the real problem. Oh no.

Everything looks delicious to him. That chair? It looks like its made out of meat. Unfortunately it also tastes that way too. So with a guy with such a voracious appetite, it may take some convincing to stop him from eating things he has no business doing.

He'll be having a serious stomach ache later.]

[Ginji's standing slightly to the side as his rubberized weathervane gets turned into an afternoon snack. It was bad enough the shift rendered it floppy and useless, but now...]

[Day 1]

[It's adventure time! Aang's caught in a game of musical doors. Where will he wind up next, and at what size? And what will he encounter there? There's plenty of room for adventure as he tries to find his way home or to the secondary Avatar House.]

[Days 2-4]

[Either Aang or Roku must have accidentally closed the bedroom door the night before. Now Aang has to open it and winds up in the clothing shop. And... is that the silly hat display from the other week? Something about one hat calls out to him. He can't help but put it on... except he can't take it off and doesn't want to.

Aang becomes a little more... manic than usual. He freely goes through doors and is driven by an insatiable craving for tea. Wherever he ends up, he'll be unusually inconsiderate to whoever lives where he winds up to search for some good old tea - and he'll be inviting everyone to a tea party which lands on the last day of the event. What will the turnout be? Will he ever be able to get the hat off? Find out soon, at the same Avatar time, same Avatar channel!]

[Saori is just sitting down in her living room, having a cup of tea...and wondering what bizarre thing will happen after her misadventure with the shower, when suddenly a short bald young man with a tattoo just...falls out of the ceiling and lands next to her]

All Week

[There is no rest for the wicked. After more than a week of being under watch by his friends because of his current 'illness,' the boredom and frustration are starting to reach annoying levels for Lupin. His experiences as a rogue and a thief predisposed him to a busy, active lifestyle--such a static existence was almost unbearable. However, he had hit a point where he had found a topic to focus entirely on that wasn't wholly worthless, for good or bad.

The confinement was starting to get better.

On the first morning Lupin leaves his bedroom with no problem. He enters the kitchen with no problem. He reaches into the refrigerator to get the pitcher of iced tea--

and is no longer in House 46.

Alas, for the remainder of the week, Lupin will never be able to return to the kitchen or his own bedroom. Every single door, window, refrigerator, or opening will take him to another random location. Truly random. Expect to find him in trees, on roof tops, in ceilings, under beds--anywhere and everywhere. The frustration mounts as the days go by, and his 'illness' starts to become more prevalent.

Expect a very irritable thief upon most interactions.

On the final day, right when normalcy resumes, he finds himself stranded on the rooftop of House 46 without a means of getting down.

[Just because an experiment is going on and making the village wildly unpredictable is no excuse not to bake more cookies when they run out.

Grune is humming to herself, finding all the ingredients and supplies to make a nice, tasty batch of molasses cookies. She bends down to open the cupboard and retrieve a mixing bowl when suddenly, there's an irate thief in her face.]

Moh y. [Which should really be "Oh my," but this week is wackbirds week as far as speech goes for Grune.] Arsene?

[Like so many, Pepper has been granted the gift of teleporting doors. There's no pattern to it at first; it happens at random, with a greater number of doors as the week goes on, and even windows when she gets desperate. And that's bad enough, honestly, ending up in random places without expecting to go there, and being increasingly unsure of how to get back inside her house. But all of this is happening in a towel, because apparently Pepper Potts is not allowed to teleport anywhere with her clothes on.

It's her first experiment. Clearly she has to be mortified. And what the trees say doesn't help. At all.]

[First a man clawing his way out the wall, and now a woman in a towel falling in her window. Adele is truly starting to loathe whatever strange experiment this is supposed to be.]

[Zevran had slowly been getting on his feet in the village. Poking around, teaching himself the basics of the finer points of the technology available. He still finds it strange- though the indoor plumbing and hot water available at the twist of a wrist is marvelous. He'd heard and read of experiments, but didn't expect much of anything major to happen so soon.

Of course it was foolish of him to do so. One door, slightly smaller than the rest, though it was beyond his notice since he is slightly smaller than the rest of the human population of Luceti anyway, and when he came out the other side? Everything was huge and he was standing in a pile of his own clothing.

Brasca.

He'll be wandering around the village in a makeshift kilt, one foot tall, for the entirety of the week. At least until he can find clothing that will fit. Of course then he'll be falling into places he shouldn't be, because walking through a regular sized door has not returned him to his original height- just sent him elsewhere.]

[You know, Luce was trying to get those trees to stop spreading those rumors and truths about him as he followed them into town and saw the tall fellow and frowned. He walked over to him.]

[Ugh so there's a lava floor again. Lovely way to wake up in the morning. Can't a man just eat his breakfast before weirdness starts up?]

[Kain will also be around town and the forest with animals pestering him everywhere he goes. He's got quite the large array of birds perched on his helmet and shoulders. They just won't leave him alone!]

[Vincent heads toward his building, again. He's tried this a good dozen times already and each time has ended up in some other random area of the enclosure. Perhaps the thirteenth time will be a charm?]

[This time his door has become disturbingly smaller. He makes a very annoyed, long-suffering face at that door, but he's determined to get back home for once. So through the door he goes! Watch out, a Vincent who's only a couple inches tall might just land wherever you happen to be at the moment...]

[Rydia's currently struggling to wade through the Welcome Center...which has become a giant ball pit. She doesn't see Vincent right away, so he might get swatted aside if he's not careful....]

[Xzana does not like this. At all. She had just about to splash back into the river to go look for some fish to eat. NOT suddenly find herself in someone's bathroom!

She's still clad in a dirty white feather dress and her small Luceti wings are between her large white wings. One bound closely to her back. Then again, it may be hard to see all that with the way she's failing about trying to escape the horror that is the shower curtain!

Only to find herself stuck on someone's ceiling as she rushes through the bathroom door.]

WHAT KIND OF MAGIC IS THIS!? [It certainly doesn't seem very useful. So help the person casting it... if she can ever figure out who that someone is.

She'll popping up all over the place as she frantically runs around trying to find her way back to the river. Find her wherever you'd like!]

[Waves up from the floor he's trying to cling to, somehow convinced that he's on the ceiling instead of vice versa.]

[Of course, Mulder appears as a gray alien in the little video screen. Of course. That alien appears to be snacking on something, popping things into his mouth and listing off flavors as he goes. His voice sounds the same, anyway.]

Hm... Bacon. Cauliflower. Oranges. Sweet Potato pie!!! Onions. Baked beans. Uhh... cake? Vanilla with chocolate frosting. Ah, root beer. Lemon! Damn it, talk about sour...

[He pauses for a moment.]

...ok, now that one just tastes like the moldy leftover casserole that sits in the back of the fridge for three weeks.

This must be that incoming "fun" we were warned about. So is anyone else actually a bit fascinated by the way the sky looks right now? I've never seen anything like it, and I thought I'd seen everything...

[Rydia stares at the gray...thing that sounds like Mulder, completely oblivious to the fact that she appears as though she's on fire herself.]

...Mulder? What on earth are you eating?

[Day 1]

[Rydia rubs her eyes as she passes the window, on her way to the bathroom for a morning shower...then quickly doubles back and stares. The night sky remains, but the sun is out? And that's not even the strangest thing she's witnessing; rain, rising up from the ground and into the sky. She glances around for other weirdness, but doesn't see any...yet.

After a moment, she pulls herself away from the window and heads out the bedroom door...only to realize just how wrong she was about assuming that the weirdness was only weather-related. The summoner, clad only in a thin, filmy robe, begins a very confusing -and annoying journey-. Are you in the middle of a battle dome scenario? She'll suddenly join you. Soaking in the hot springs? Well, she's just plummeted into the water. Still sleeping? Sorry, but you have her randomly walking out of your closet. She eventually does reach a bathroom...but of course it's not hers and already occupied. Have fun with that.

Little wonder that by the time she's finally able to open her journal, she sounds more than a little exasperated. (And high-pitched, on fast-forward. Good luck understanding her.)]

[Shenanigans don't end there, of course. Far from it. She can at least reach her own bathroom now with no fuss, but even preparing for possible post-shower weirdness and dressing appropriately does not save Rydia from shenanigans, as now her hallways/walls are lava. Even trying to escape via the window doesn't help; feel free to see Rydia suddenly appear a few feet above the ground to plummet onto her target. (Or go ahead and be the target, too, for added fun.)

And no, the Welcome Center is no sanctuary from all this. Did anyone want a massive ball pit? Well, there is one now as Rydia discovers when being teleported again at some point. She tries to wade out, but all the doors are far too small. Nonetheless, she'll try one...and end up in the Memorial Garden, no higher than some of the flowers she's helped tend. Time to find a larger door....]

[Well, this is day one. That mysterious, stupid voice threatened and experiment and he hasn't had any problems yet, so Adell is just minding his own business. And by that, he had just gotten out of the shower and put a towel on.

[Saleh steps out of his shower, quickly wrapping a towel around his waist. He picks up his crown from the counter and puts it on his head. The rest of his clothes, however, are laid out on the bed. He's going to have a lot of trouble getting to them, because once he steps through the doorway out of the bathroom, he'll end up somewhere else entirely.]

[Worst timing EVER. Kain is standing in the middle of the forest, just overhearing a certain rumor from the trees involving Saleh having a crush on Rydia. He's just turning around to leave the area when... SUDDENLY HE'S BUMPING INTO SALEH HIMSELF.]

[He's supposed to stay right where he is, shut away from the rest of the village, but rules are impossible not to break when passing through a doorway is enough to send him halfway across the village. Mithos is used to things not going his way, but this week gives the phrase a fresh meaning.

He ends up everywhere he doesn't want to be. Especially wherever you happen to be, whoever you are. At least the forest isn't too atrocious - if only the trees would shut the hell up.]

[Fattycakes just wants to get into one of his huts scattered throughout the village. However, every time he enters a hut, he ends up falling somewhere else in the village! Cue a frantic and frustrated Puffski trying to enter his huts and wailing as he ends up elsewhere. Warning: It is highly likely that he will fall on your head.]

Day 1
[Good morning world! How are you today? Pascal is feeling just peachy, especially considering the fact as soon as she got out of bed she felt herself being catapulted out of the window which ended up transporting her into someone else's house. Now she's bouncing all over the place and doing a good job of wrecking everything she's touching. It's like someone turned all the walls, floors and ceilings into trampolines! Or maybe she's just turned into a bouncy ball with a very Pascal-like shape.

No matter what the reason she can't seem to stop herself. If she happens to bounce through your bedroom maybe you can try catching her before she bounces off to some other home. Or try and avoid being hit by her. Or duck and cover because dear god there's a woman bouncing through my room what is going on?!]

Day 2-3
[Okay, initial shock over. This whole constantly bouncing deal is pretty sweet! There's the slight downside of her not being able to sleep like this but it's not like she hasn't pulled an all-nighter or two before anyway!

Now she's gotten the hang of her new bouncy self, Pascal is having a blast. She's diving and tumbling through doors and popping out through others all over the village like some sort of professional door diver! If she just so happens to accidentally crash into anyone then whoopsie daisy, looks like they're coming along for the ride too.]

Day 4
[Tired. Sleep good. Must sleep and bounce...

There's a very tired and sluggish Amarcian bouncing around now. In fact she might just be bouncing in place whilst trying to nab a little shut-eye. The problem is as soon as she dozes off the bouncing soon wakes her up again. If you get close enough you might be able to hear her mumbling in her sleepy state.]

Mrrrrhm... All you bananas need to stop moving around so I can eat yooou! I really need a boost right now... Shhhrszznnanaaas...

[... Either everyone now looks like bananas to her or she's delirious from the lack of sleep. Hard to tell.]

Day 1 - Morning

[Ah, Vash had decided to sleep in today. He thought a nice long snooze was just the thing to hit the spot. He was just waking up to great the day when-

GAH! Something heavy bouncing off his stomach.]

By the time he makes it back to the village via dark corridor, he's soaking wet. But, oh, that's not all. If he so much as opens his mouth, he may be forced to sing his true feelings.

Feel free to find him in all sorts of crazy locations. Walking along the side of a building, falling into your bath tub... After a while, he will completely avoid doors altogether and just keep slipping into portals.]

[As noted here in a post all of you should totally still tag, Haruhi is still middle aged on this day. If you want to do some event based tomfoolery of any kind with an older Haruhi, this is your chance! Invent a situation and I promise to roll with it. Replied obviously with the older account for this one]

31st
[Haruhi woke up back to normal today... and it's her birthday. She honestly doesn't remember if she planned to have a party this year, but she expects if there will be one, it'll be in the HQ, so after dressing up and trying to repress most of weird memories she has of the last few days until today, she makes her way to the HQ after breakfast and stuff at the house (which housemates are free to make weird things happen at!!) Given yesterday it was raining up and what the sky's like, there's no way she doesn't know what's up...

But she wasn't really expecting to open the door to the HQ is come out of the door of one of the new feather watch stations - specifically bb on the map. She'll be hiking through the forest to get home, being annoyed and disturbed by the trees. By the time she makes it home (including running into people in the forest reply for that!!) she'll just flop on her couch and make a voice message:]

Happy birthday to me. If you have gifts, just bring them to house ten, STAT.

[Unless you ran into her early today, this is also the first indication that she's back to normal too. So...]

There's no party or anything for all you people who have partied out, don't worry. Jeez, stupid Shift.

[ So she figured out who Haruki was after someone told her about Haruki boning three girls and being a girl normally. Only took a little bit of thinking about who Haruki could be, but she came down on the right conclusion, she's pretty sure. Which might be why with the minor annoyed tone. ]

Happy birthday. I would've come up with a gift but my new friend told me something pretty interesting and last time I tried to jump onto the ground I bounced a few times then fell through and ended up climbing out of someone's couch so I'm avoiding the ground and therefore can't make it to my house!

During the Week...

[For the first part of the week, Sue is pretty much normal. Sure, she has some problems with people just appearing in her living room, but thats not a big deal. She'll just blink, and probably keep cooking breakfast. IF you ask nicely, she'll undoubtedly make you some too, or at least offer coffee.

Later in the week, however, Sue has suffered a calamitous misfortune. She walked out her front door, and suddenly grew to an ENORMOUS size. She's easily as tall as a community building, so she can't exactly go back inside, and having no other thoughts, she's now just sitting outside of town, warding off any rain with a force field and kind of sitting there, glowering until someone says something.

Feel free to appear anywhere in Sue's apartment, or...to bother her when she's Godzilla-sized. Because this is new...and she does not approve. Not to mention those AWFUL rumors...]

Day 6

The irritability was mounting, but he was glad for once that he wasn't in a tree. Instead he was on something blue that was quite squishy...

Lupin doesn't care. He's just going to take a nap.]

Today Helios might be making impromptu visits into people's houses today. Whether it's a bathroom, kitchen, or closet he will be there! And feel terrible about it and apologize profusely for the intrusion. He just wanted to go to the store to get food but none of the doorways are working properly!! He'll eventually stumble back into his own house at some point. If not before barging into someone while they're in shower or something.

July 31st

And on this day!! Anyone who happens to land themselves in House 44 will notice the floor is actually all water and there's an eerie shape swimming around through the floor boards. Who knows what the heck that thing is but it's probably best to not try to irritate it.

August 1st-3rd

On these last few days Helios is actually going to be normal. He is just...going to try and help as many people as possible by trying to have a stand of food set up for anyone who can't exactly get home. Too bad the meatloaf tastes like chocolate cake, and the beef stew tastes like ice cream! This is not as planned. Everything tastes not as it's supposed to. Lemonade tasting like iced tea! Iced tea tasting like root beer! The list goes on! Why is this happening?! ]

July 31st

[As was usual for Saori, she took a shower in the early evening, and unfortunately for her, she couldn't leave the bathroom without ending up somewhere else. She'd figured that out the day before, so steeling herself, she wraps up in a towel and just walks out...and right into House 44's watery troubles.
